| What does an ecoENERGY audit consist of? |  |

| 1. Our certified NRCan advisors do a walk through of the home and assess the home from basement to attic including insulation, heating and cooling systems, along with other components of the home that will influence its efficiency. |
| 2. A blower door test is performed to detect any leaks or drafts. |
| 3. Based on the results a personalised report is created with recommendations of what you should change to have the most efficient home and the grant amounts applicable for that change. |

| 1. What is the purpose of an ecoENERGY audit? |
| The purpose of an ecoENERGY audit is to increase the efficiency of your home and decrease the environmental impact including offsetting green house gases. Also the advantage of having an ecoENERGY audit is that you will receive a grant in return for making the recommended changes. |

| 2. Why do I need to produce my Tax Roll Number to the advisor? |
| Your Tax Roll Number is required so that Natural Resources Canada can authorize the ownership of the home. |

| 3. How long do I have to complete my ecoENERGY assessment? |
| Each household has a period of 18 months or March 2011, when the program ends, to complete the recommended changes and second audit in order to qualify for the grants. |

| 4. Are the grants based on the amount of money I spend for the recommended |
| changes? |
| No, they are predetermined amounts specific to the type of change you are making. Also the maximum amount of grants a household can receive is $5,000 which is matched by the federal government. |

| No, our certified NRCan advisors take care of all the paper work for you. |
